Position Overview

The Remote Customer Service Representative role is a pivotal point of contact between arenaflex and the patients we serve across Nevada. You will engage directly with patients to discuss medication options, promote the use of cost‑effective generic therapies, and ensure adherence to prescribed treatment plans. This position blends independent problem‑solving with teamwork, requiring you to balance self‑direction with collaboration across our Specialty Projects Team and pharmacy professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate the benefits of generic medications and alternative therapies to patients, emphasizing cost savings and clinical effectiveness.
  • Partner with the Specialty Projects Team to execute targeted generic conversion initiatives and therapy changes on specific prescriptions.
  • Conduct proactive adherence outreach, checking in with patients to confirm they are taking their medications as prescribed and addressing any barriers to compliance.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism, empathy, and a focus on first‑call resolution.
  • Gather and verify patient information, insurance details, and prescription data while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance.
  • Provide clear, concise education on medication usage, side effects, and refill processes.
  • Escalate complex clinical questions to a licensed pharmacist, ensuring patients receive accurate and timely guidance.
  • Document all interactions accurately in arenaflex’s CRM system, adhering to quality and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions, webinars, and performance reviews to continuously improve service delivery.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience handling phone‑based inquiries and resolving issues.
  • At least 6 months of high‑volume call‑center experience using Windows, Microsoft Office, or comparable applications.
  • Residency in the state of Nevada and ability to work within local time zones.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; additional education in health‑care or related fields is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply basic insurance, reimbursement, and pharmacy terminology.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, with a clear, friendly, and confident phone presence.

Compensation, Perks & Benefits
