About the Role

  • We are seeking an Analytical Data Linguist with data analysis, Python, and SQL backgrounds.
  • The Linguists hired in this role will be performing deep dive analyses and annotations to ensure company's voice product quality.
  • This role will also be evaluating and reporting on human annotations on large scale linguistic and multimodal data informing product performance.

Job Title: Linguist III

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct experiments evaluating end-to-end quality.
  • Develop manual and automated processes for multiple concurrent projects including ensuring high-quality label alignments, annotation fidelity, and guideline adherence.
  • Create and perfect human and automated annotation solutions for text, audio, image, and video data.
  • Use LLMs in ad-hoc automated reporting.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor s or Master's degree in linguistics, language technologies, computational linguistics, or a related field
  • Experience with Python, SQL and LLMs.
  • Knowledge of human annotation workflows including annotation metrics and applied statistical methods.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in linguistics, language technologies, computational linguistics, or a related field.
  • FAANG or big tech background preferred.

Location: Remote [USA]

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $93,600 $131,040 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
