Responsibilities:

• Perform duties of a licensed practical nurse as prescribed by the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act
• Contribute to the development of patient care plans and follow through with implementation
• Administer medication with a high degree of safety and accuracy
• Maintain exam rooms and work environment to ensure a safe and efficient workflow
• Document nursing care and activities accurately and efficiently
• Assist with patient care and monitoring during procedures
• Assist with training and development of other staff members
• Support departmental assistant with clinical matters

Qualifications:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse

Experience:

• Prefer at least 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or physician-office setting, emergency room, and/or hospital setting
• Experience in office clerical activities desirable

Licensure/Certification:

• Current LPN license from the State of Oklahoma or active Multistate LPN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required for duration of employment
