Part-Time Administrative Professional - Payroll Specialist ($20-$22/hour DOE)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Part-Time Administrative Professional to join our team as a Payroll Specialist. As a key member of our Nationwide Event Management company, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative functions, including data input, weekly payroll, and office management. This part-time position offers flexible hours, remote work options, and a competitive hourly rate of $20-$22/hour, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support, including answering phones, scheduling meetings, and managing office supplies
  • Process payroll tasks, maintain databases, and update worker records
  • Assist the Operations Manager in formulating policies, procedures, and changes, and communicate updates to workers
  • Address employee concerns, foster positive relationships, and promote a positive work environment
  • Enter data into our scheduling program and perform other administrative and clerical tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently
  • Strong administrative skills, including documentation and reporting
  • Excellent computer literacy, particularly with Google Suite applications

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Familiarity with construction tools and safety practices (training will be provided if necessary)
