QA Engineer

Work from home Full-time role Hiring

Who we are:

Nitra is changing how providers in the healthcare sector access credit and financial services - addressing an imminent need for modern financial solutions that integrate seamlessly with complex industry processes. Our goal is to provide an ecosystem of fintech and software solutions that help doctors better manage their practices, so they can have time back to focus on what matters to them most.

Nitra will offer physicians and medical clinics around the country cards, loans, accounts, payments, and expense management products they crucially need, in an all-in-one platform powered by machine learning technologies.

Nitra was created by unicorn founders who have successfully scaled to thousands of customers and exited $1B+ public offerings. They are joined by an ambitious and experienced team from American Express, Plaid, and Goldman Sachs. The team is backed by some of the world’s leading VCs (Andreessen Horowitz, NEA, etc.) and is supported by an expert group of advisors including the cofounders of Square and Xendit, executives from Intuit, former Governors, White House senior staffers, and a co-founder of CityMD.

We're looking for:

A QA Engineer who will be responsible for testing and validating the functionality, reliability, and usability of Nitra’s platform before it reaches our users. You’ll help ensure that every feature released is polished and bug-free.

***Note: You must be based out of Taipei for this role.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Performing thorough manual testing of the web application and identifying visual and functional issues
  • Writing and maintaining automated UI test scripts using JavaScript or Python
  • Collaborating with engineers to design and implement test cases that go beyond unit and integration coverage
  • Proactively identifying bugs, inconsistencies, and edge cases during development cycles
  • Logging, tracking, and verifying bugs using our internal ticketing system
  • Partnering closely with product and design teams to ensure high-quality user experiences
  • You have

  • Fluency in English
  • Able to have flexible working hours to collaborate with our NY / DC office
  • 1–3 years of experience in QA, testing, or related engineering roles
  • Familiarity with writing automated tests using JavaScript or Python
  • A hands-on, detail-oriented mindset with a strong willingness to manually test user interfaces
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • The ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment
  • Bonus: Exposure to fintech, healthcare tech, or other regulated industries
  • We offer

  • Equity - Everyone at Nitra is an owner. When the company wins, you win
  • Competitive Salary - You’re the best of the best, and your salary will reflect your experience and reward your contributions to Nitra
  • Health Care - Your health comes first. We offer comprehensive health, vision, and dental insurance options.
  • Additional Information
