Job title: Part Time High Dosage Tutoring Teacher Assistant (Grant Funded) Company: Teach Mississippi Job description : These Tutors are working with students in the classroom as the teacher presents the lessons. Provide academic support for selected students Duties and Responsibilities: Provide individual and/or small group instruction Provide documentation of student progress Work with teacher(s) to determine appropriate interventions Maintain required documentation of services provided up to 19 hours per week Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance Supports the Lamar County School District Mission Statement Perform other duties assigned by Supervisor Qualifications: Education Level: High School Diploma or equivalent Passing scores on "Work Keys" test or completion of 48 college credits Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Other Requirements: Required references and background check Terms of Employment: Salary, days and work year as established by the Lamar County Board of Education Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Lamar County School Board policy on Evaluation of Employees.
