Job Overview Join us as an AWS Big Data Engineer and become a pivotal member of our vibrant team. This mid-level role is full-time and based in Chennai, Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad, or Noida. As an AWS Big Data Engineer, you'll support our clients by harnessing the power of big data technologies to derive insights and drive business success. We seek professionals with a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience, ready to innovate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Qualifications and Skills

  • Extensive experience in Python programming with the ability to write efficient and robust code for data processing tasks.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading, ensuring seamless database management and data manipulation.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services including but not limited to S3, Redshift, and Lambda for cloud-based big data solutions.
  • Proficient in using Pyspark for large-scale data processing and analytics within distributed computing environments.
  • A deep understanding of data warehousing concepts and big data processing frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex datasets and deliver actionable insights.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team, offering innovative solutions to business challenges.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable big data solutions using AWS services to meet client requirements.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load large datasets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and deliver solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of data processing workflows to enhance system efficiency.
  • Ensure data integrity and quality through rigorous testing and validation procedures.
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the big data ecosystem to maintain expertise.
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior team members, guiding best practices in data engineering.
  • Document processes and technical specifications to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
