PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The Financial Operations Associate will be instrumental in driving the company’s success by supporting reporting, forecasting, and the analysis of financial and operational data across various functional areas. In this role, you will not only streamline internal reporting processes and procedures but also contribute to boosting operational efficiency throughout the organization, offering essential day-to-day support to the COO. • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and KPI reporting which is vital for understanding the financial and operational health of the organization and for identifying trends that may impact the company’s performance. • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring that financial plans are robust and aligned with the strategic goals of the company. • Provide actionable insights derived from financial and operational data that drive critical business decisions, thereby directly influencing the direction and success of the organization. • Prepare detailed financial and operational reports that not only communicate current status but also identify historical and forward-looking trends. • Collaborate across departments to enhance financial planning processes and procedures, ensuring that all facets of business reporting are integrated in a manner that promotes efficient data gathering and works in service of the company’s strategic imperatives. • Identify opportunities to promote operational efficiency within the organization; propose and support the implementation of novel solutions. • Analyze operational data to uncover insights that can drive improvements and develop innovative strategies to streamline workflows. • Work side-by-side with COO to align operational objectives with overall business strategy, ensuring maximum productivity and optimal resource allocation. EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE • Bachelor’s degree with evidence of high academic achievement at a competitive four-year college or university with a rigorous course of study. • Minimum 3 years of experience in a highly analytical finance or operations role supporting senior finance or operations leaders. • Demonstrated ability to both collaborate on and take ownership of multiple tasks within a cross-functional team. • Demonstrated ability to establish and meet realistic deadlines in a fast-paced setting. • Exceptional written and oral communication skills (English). • Results-driven, process-oriented mindset. • Keen attention to detail. • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. • Experience using robust ERP and data analytics platforms. KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES • Strong communication both verbal and written • Detail oriented and organized. • Self-motivated; ability to be self-directed. • Capable of managing multiple projects under various deadlines. • Advanced MS Office; experience using robust ERP and data analytics platforms.
