This role offers the opportunity to work on complex insurance coverage matters and reinsurance litigation, focusing on high-exposure claims. Ideal candidates will possess strong litigation skills and a comprehensive understanding of various insurance policies, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers policies. Duties: • Draft and file pleadings, dispositive motions, and discovery requests/responses • Manage all aspects of discovery, including discovery motions and motion practice • Conduct depositions and participate in court appearances as needed • Independently manage cases from start to finish • Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members on complex legal issues • Develop and maintain client relationships • Contribute to business development and marketing efforts • Provide superior research and writing support for case preparation Requirements: • 4-7 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation • Strong understanding of insurance coverage issues, including professional liability, general liability, and D&O policies • Proven experience in civil litigation, including drafting motions, conducting discovery, and representing clients in court • Ability to independently manage caseloads and work under minimal supervision • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients in a dynamic environment Education: • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Certifications: • Active Bar membership in good standing in Georgia (or eligibility to waive in) Skills: • Superior research and writing abilities • Strong oral communication and presentation skills • Ability to handle complex legal issues with attention to detail • Proficient in using legal research tools and case management software • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team Job Location: • Atlanta, GA This large Atlanta-based firm has well rounded and outgoing associates.
