Curating a truly global and exciting assortment at the leading edge of culture, HBX focuses on delivering the latest, trend-setting fashion, accessories, shoes, home and lifestyle goods to its customers. With the HBX e-commerce platform shipping to over 80 markets worldwide, it has 2 retail stores in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

Manage the respective portfolio, inclusive of ready-to-wear, footwear and accessories, to achieve targeted sales projections and sell-through targets.

Monitor seasonal performance and inventory levels, and execute in-season and off-season action plans to improve revenue and profitability.

Work closely with the planning team on the seasonal OTB to meet corporate objectives.

Develop strong relationships with vendors to secure exclusive projects and trading terms.

Maintain strong understanding of latest fashion trends, based on market research and social trends.

Establish pricing strategies based on performance analytics, competitor landscape and margins.

Act as a key stakeholder between operations, marketing and retail teams to align strategic vision and business focuses.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion, Business, or related disciplines is preferred.

4+ years of experience in fashion buying – experience in a multi-brand retailer and in womenswear is a plus.

Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem solving skills

Creative mindset to think outside the box.

Strong fashion sense and personal style.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to travel overseas for business needs.

Excellent command of written and spoken English is a must.

Less experienced candidates will be considered as Assistant Buyer.
