About Manifold

As the amount of biomedical data types and scale continues to grow, old ways of working with data hold back the pace of progress — fragmented data, overwhelming omics, complex manual work, analysis backlogs, friction in secure collaboration, and barriers to distributing workflows. We had a conviction about how to move us closer to a future of precision medicine by making it ten times faster and one-tenth the cost to generate knowledge, develop better treatments, and improve patient outcomes.

And so Manifold began its journey. We are a health research infrastructure company that enables researchers to focus on the high-impact research that matters most, by taking care of all the other stuff that gets in the way.

About the Role

Manifold is seeking a Product Marketing Manager with expertise in research informatics or data science platform product marketing to define and execute the strategies that position our solutions effectively in the market. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, this role will be pivotal in driving go-to-market success, crafting compelling messaging, and enabling sales teams with impactful resources. The ideal candidate has a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer-centric messaging and is skilled at cross-functional collaboration.

What You’ll Do

  • Strategic Positioning & Messaging: Develop and maintain compelling positioning and messaging for the company’s solutions, creating assets like white papers, case studies, webinars, videos, and research reports that resonate with target audiences and drive demand.
  • Content Development: Lead the creation of high-quality, impactful content, including internal enablement materials, customer-facing collateral, and thought leadership resources to support integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Go-to-Market Leadership: Drive go-to-market strategies and product launches by collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment across marketing, sales, and product departments.
  • Sales Enablement: Partner with Sales to develop enablement materials such as product collateral, sales decks, demo videos, and other resources to support pipeline growth and accelerate sales cycles.
  • Competitive & Market Insights: Own competitive intelligence and market research initiatives to inform product positioning, messaging, and strategy. Provide actionable insights and updates to internal teams, including Sales and Product.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, sales, and marketing teams to ensure clear communication of product value and alignment with market trends and customer needs.
  • Impact Measurement: Monitor and report on the performance of marketing activities, ensuring they drive measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Industry Expertise: 7+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in life sciences, research informatics software product marketing, data management, or related industries. Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer-centric messaging.
  • Content Leadership: Strong content development skills with a portfolio that demonstrates expertise in creating a variety of marketing materials, including thought leadership, demand generation assets, and sales enablement resources.
  • Product Launch Experience: Track record of leading successful product launches and go-to-market efforts in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience conveying value propositions to diverse audiences, including technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Market Analysis & Competitive Insights: Demonstrated ability to conduct market research and competitive analysis, turning insights into actionable strategies.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders.
  • Collaboration & Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
