Job Overview We are in search of a talented and committed Reading Comprehension & Writing Tutor to join our esteemed educational team. This remote position offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional instruction in reading comprehension and writing expression, with a focus on nurturing students' literary skills and confidence. Key Responsibilities • Conduct engaging one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions for a maximum of three students. • Create tailored instructional plans that cater to individual student needs and learning styles. • Foster an encouraging and dynamic learning environment that promotes student engagement and success. • Collaborate with students to enhance their abilities in critical reading, writing, and literary interpretation. Required Skills • Strong critical reading and writing capabilities, with a comprehensive understanding of grammar, syntax, and literary analysis. • Expertise in teaching SAT-level content, evidenced by achieving a score of 700 or above in the Reading/Writing section of a practice SAT test conducted at our center. • A background in English or American literature, alongside a talent for guiding students through complex literary concepts. • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to working with young learners; prior tutoring or teaching experience is advantageous. Qualifications • A bachelor's degree or higher in English, Education, or a relevant field is essential. • Strong enthusiasm for teaching and helping students achieve their academic goals.
