Machine Operators - 2nd/3rd Shifts

C-P Flexible Packaging is now hiring 2nd and 3rd shift Machine Operators. Monday to Friday, 2:45pm to 10:45pm Sunday to Thursday, 10:45pm to 6:45am Starting at $17/hour WHAT YOU GET: • 10 Paid Holidays per year • Shoe Reimbursement • Paid Sick Time Other Benefits: • Spot Awards • Medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage • Pension Plan • 401(k) plan with generous company match • Company-paid life insurance and NYS disability coverage • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Job Functions & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): • Operating machinery • Complete tasks within adequate time limits, meet daily goal/scheduled needs • Tearing down and setting up jobs • Loading and unloading of product • Interpret and understand written information (work orders, SOP, tickets, etc.) • Palletization and bagging • Keeping work and surrounding areas clean and safe • Work in a team environment • Must comply with all general Company-wide standard operating procedures (SOP's) and any job or department specific SOP's • SOP's may cover the area of (but are not limited to): • Employee Health & Safety • SQF (Safe Quality Food packager) and GMP (good manufacturing procedures) focused on eliminating contaminates in all packaging manufactured Qualifications: • Problem solving • Following instructions • Basic computer skills • Communicating in a clear manner • Ability to read and understand a tape measure Physical Demands: • Able to lift to 50-80 lbs. • Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time • Bending and twisting • Extensive use of hands and fingers Apply Job!
