About the position The Clinic Call Center Representative is responsible for managing inbound calls and ensuring efficient responses to patient inquiries. The role focuses on cultivating positive relationships with patients and facilitating their needs within the Samaritan Health Services system. This position is fully remote, requiring applicants to reside in Oregon, and emphasizes the importance of patient-centered care and effective communication. Responsibilities • Take inbound calls from patients and respond to inquiries promptly. , • Ensure patient needs are prioritized and addressed effectively. , • Utilize system policies and procedures to assist patients in scheduling appointments and communicating with their providers. , • Cultivate positive relationships with patients to enhance their experience with the Samaritan System. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent required. , • Experience or training with computer applications required. , • One year of experience or training in a similar role preferred. , • Experience or training with medical/insurance terminology preferred. Nice-to-haves • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems. , • Understanding of State and Federal (HIPAA) laws regarding confidentiality of protected health information.
