Remote QuickBooks Part-time Bookkeeper

Job Overview We are actively seeking a meticulous and self-driven Part-Time Bookkeeper with a strong command of QuickBooks to join our dynamic small business team. This role offers the flexibility of working remotely, with an estimated commitment of 4-12 hours per month. Work hours may fluctuate based on seasonal demands, and a remote work option is available following an initial training phase. Key Responsibilities • Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the General Ledger (GL), adhering to GAAP standards. • Generate customized financial reports as required. • Manage time effectively across various tasks, ensuring timely and efficient updates. • Attend in-person meetings 2-4 times per month to review updates and discuss progress. Required Skills • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is essential (certification is preferred but not mandatory). • Excellent time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and adhere to deadlines. • Capacity to adapt swiftly and effectively to changing circumstances. Qualifications • A detail-oriented and self-motivated individual. • Previous experience in long-term care facilities such as nursing homes, rest homes, or assisted living centers is advantageous. • Familiarity with government grants and funding processes related to these facilities is highly regarded.
