[Remote] IT Project Manager

They are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to manage IT initiatives, support enterprise application operations, and lead Azure modernization efforts.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end IT projects including planning, execution, status reporting, risk management, and stakeholder communication
- Manage project scope, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables
- Provide day-to-day support for websites, applications, and databases
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise applications and systems
- Support Level 2 issue resolution for application, database, and website-related incidents
- Manage vendor contracts, subscriptions, and professional services
- Conduct assessments of storage environments, database systems, and legacy applications
- Analyze performance, scalability, dependencies, and modernization opportunities
- Gather business and technical requirements and translate them into technical recommendations
- Design and support Azure modernization strategies, including migration planning and future-state architecture
- Perform testing across applications, databases, and websites
- Support chatbot implementation and AI-driven document processing initiatives
- Provide knowledge transfer and collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management
- Experience in IT application support and operational management
- 2+ years of experience supporting or administering Microsoft Azure environments
- 2+ years of experience in data storage optimization
- 2+ years of experience in database analysis
- 2+ years of experience in Azure modernization
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server support and troubleshooting
- Experience with ShareFile, Tableau, Drupal, Acquia, and OnContact
- Azure Administrator certification preferred
- Experience with Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Spark SQL
- Knowledge of Azure AI Search, RAG, LLMs, and chatbot implementation
- Experience with vector databases like Pinecone or Weaviate
- Familiarity with LangChain or Semantic Kernel
