[Remote] Senior Developer, Analytics

PAC Worldwide is evolving how data powers the business and they are seeking a Senior Developer, Analytics to build the data layer that drives manufacturing decisions. The role involves leading the development of enterprise analytics focused on manufacturing costing and margin performance, while partnering with various departments to translate business problems into data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and build manufacturing costing and margin analytics
- Develop executive and operational reporting in Power BI that people actually use
- Engineer scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric / Synapse, SQL, and Skillifyx Lake
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines across ERP and enterprise systems
- Apply Python / PySpark to automate, scale, and optimize data workflows
- Establish governed, repeatable data models aligned with financial controls
- Partner directly with Finance, Cost Accounting, Operations, and Leadership to translate business problems into data solutions
Skills
- 8+ years in analytics, data engineering, or BI development
- Proven experience with manufacturing cost or financial analytics
- Advanced skills in: Power BI (DAX, modeling, performance tuning)
- Advanced skills in: SQL (complex querying, optimization)
- Advanced skills in: ETL design and development
- Advanced skills in: Microsoft Fabric / Synapse
- Advanced skills in: Python / PySpark
- Strong understanding of data governance, controls, and scalable design
- Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and translate ambiguity into structure
