based company's product line, regardless of your physical location. You will be a key contributor to bringing scientifically advanced skincare to market.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the research and development of new and innovative skincare formulations, from concept to commercialization. Conduct stability testing, compatibility studies, and performance evaluations for new and existing products. Source and evaluate new raw materials and ingredients, assessing their efficacy, safety, and cost-effectiveness. Develop detailed product specifications, manufacturing instructions, and quality control procedures. Troubleshoot formulation issues and optimize existing product lines. Ensure all formulations comply with relevant industry regulations (FDA, etc.) and safety standards. Collaborate closely with R&D teams, marketing, regulatory affairs, and manufacturing partners. Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and scientific advancements in cosmetic chemistry and skincare. Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders. Mentor junior chemists and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Master's or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in skincare formulation development. In-depth knowledge of cosmetic ingredients, formulation techniques, and their interaction with the skin. Strong understanding of cosmetic product stability, safety testing, and regulatory compliance. Experience with analytical techniques and instrumentation used in cosmetic analysis. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and scientific reasoning skills. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, essential for remote collaboration. Proficiency in laboratory practices and safety protocols. Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
