As the Front Pharmacy Technician, you will be asked to shadow to demonstrate what right looks like as a fully proficient Technician. Positively contributes to overall team motivation and drives team engagement. As permitted by state regulation, interprets providers' prescriptions and creates order, assesses, inputs and retrieves prescription, medical/lab and reimbursement information from computer... system. Position Location: 4300 44th Ave, Moline, IL 61265 Schedule: Monday Friday, 9:00 AM 6:00 PM CST, 40 hours per week If you reside in Illinois or Iowa, you will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Prescription requests Entry, billing, and submittal of the customer's order to fulfillment for delivery assist with operations support, training, and process improvements Contribute to updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and team content Creation/ routing of pharmacy orders through receipt Demonstrate handling both inbound and outbound member/patient calls Prep and scan documents, verify member/patient data submit prescription orders in computer system May contact members/patients/providers to validate data, request payment information and establish priority of order or delivery details Applies knowledge/skills to a range of moderately complex activities Demonstrates great depth of knowledge/skills in own function Acts as a technical resource to others in own function Proactively identifies solutions to non-standard requests Solves moderately complex problems on own Works with team to solve complex problems Plans, prioritizes, organizes, and completes work to meet established objectives Provide an exceptional customer experience with every interaction Provide a holistic approach to case management by completing the following duties for each customer assigned Extensive work experience within own function Work is frequently completed without established procedures Works independently May coordinate others activities You ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED (or higher) Active and unrestricted State NHA CpHT license OR Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification via EXCPT or PTCB without restrictions or ability to obtain prior to start date 2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician Currently reside within Illinois or Iowa Ability to work Monday Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM 6:00 PM CST (40 hours per week) Preferred Qualifications: Patient experience Call-center or telephonic work *All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group s Telecommuter Policy.
