Artist (Project-Based)The Philippines (Remote)Be a Crucial Member of a Growing and Innovative Art TeamFresh Prints is a New York-based custom apparel startup. We work with incredible students across the US and support them in building apparel businesses at their schools.This role is a 3-month contractual setup, with possible extensions depending on business needs and performance.The Art Team creates mock-ups and artwork for every order at Fresh Prints. Examples of this work include:Vectorizing client-provided artworkPlacing logos and designs onto apparel templatesRecreating low-quality artwork into production-ready filesPreparing clean, upload-ready assets for production useDirect communication with client via emailsThe Art Team is one of Fresh Prints' biggest strengths. We're responsible for ensuring designs are delivered quickly, accurately, and to a high-quality standard.At Fresh Prints, we provide ongoing design mentorship, technical workshops, QA support, and opportunities to explore original artwork and design trends. A successful Fresh Prints artist enjoys designing, problem-solving, pays close attention to details, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where learning and adaptability matter.Key ResponsibilitiesUpload mock-ups and artwork as quickly and accurately as possible while maintaining strong quality standards.Ensure artwork matches client requests, manager instructions, and production requirements.Interpret and follow complex instructions with strong attention to detail.Recreate and clean low-quality artwork into production-ready vector files.Maintain strong QA awareness by reviewing artwork for technical, aesthetic, and instruction-related issues before upload.Communicate clearly with Campus Managers and internal teams regarding revisions, concerns, recommendations, or clarification questions.Use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop efficiently in a production-based environment.Utilize AI-assisted workflows and tools responsibly to improve presentation quality, workflow efficiency, and design support when applicable.Complete a set number of deliverables per day while balancing speed, quality, and accuracy.Personal AttributesExcellent verbal and written communication skills and fluency in EnglishReliable, responsive, and able to manage time effectively in a remote setupComfortable asking questions and clarifying unclear requestsReceptive to feedback and open to continuous improvementAble to balance speed and efficiency without compromising qualityStrong instruction comprehension and attention to detailTechnical RequirementsAdvanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Strong proficiency in Adobe PhotoshopExperience creating and editing vector graphics, including from low-resolution source materialAbility to recreate artwork accurately using the Pen Tool and/or drawing tabletsA well-functioning computer capable of handling design workloads and a strong and stable internet and power connectionFamiliarity with AI-assisted creative tools and workflows is a plusCompensation & BenefitsMonthly salary ranges from $400 to $600 + night shift allowance, depending on schedule and responsibilitiesWe cover the cost of your Adobe Illustrator licenseA fast-paced environment with lots of room for growth and long-term career opportunitiesAccess to training, mentorship, workshops, and collaborative learning opportunitiesDetailsThis is a remote "work-from-home" positionWork hours: 7 PM to 5 AM Manila Time, Monday to FridayStart date is TBA (currently pooling candidates)3-month contractual setup, with possible extensions depending on business needs and performanceAt Fresh Prints, we deeply value the long-term contributions of our team.
