Position Overview – Remote Data Protection & Privacy Analyst

We are seeking a detail‑oriented, analytical professional to join our Remote Data Entry team as a Data Protection & Privacy Analyst. In this role, you will be the guardian of sensitive information, ensuring that all data entering arenaflex’s systems complies with global privacy standards and internal security policies. This is a fully remote, online position based in the United States, offering a competitive hourly rate of $26 and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate data entry and validation for privacy‑sensitive records across multiple platforms.
  • Interpret and apply data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.) to daily operational tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including legal, security, and product—to resolve privacy‑related incidents.
  • Conduct routine audits of data handling processes to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of data flows, privacy impact assessments, and compliance reports.
  • Provide clear, concise communication to stakeholders at all levels, translating technical privacy concepts into understandable language.
  • Support the implementation and configuration of privacy‑enhancing technologies and vendor solutions.
  • Stay current with evolving privacy laws and industry best practices, proactively advising the organization on emerging risks.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of internal training modules on data protection best practices.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting strict deadlines and quality standards.

Essential Qualifications (Minimum Requirements)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a data‑focused or privacy‑related role.
  • Demonstrated understanding of data protection and privacy regulations at local, national, and international levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders ranging from technical staff to senior leadership.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment, managing time and priorities without direct supervision.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Reliability and punctuality—consistent attendance is a core expectation for this role.
