Maths teacher Analysis and approaches SL /HL
SEK Education Group is seeking to appoint an experienced Mathematics Teacher for SEK Global Campus, its online school. The successful candidate will teach Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches at both Standard Level (SL) and Higher Level (HL) within the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), working with DP1 and DP2 students. Main Responsibilities Teach Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches SL/HL to IB Diploma Programme students. Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with IB curriculum requirements. Assess student progress and provide regular feedback. Prepare students for IB examinations and support them in achieving strong academic outcomes. Supervise and guide students through the Internal Assessment (Mathematical Exploration). Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs. Foster critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and mathematical communication. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student success. Contribute to curriculum development and participate in IB professional development activities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience teaching the IB Diploma Programme. Native or near-native level of English. Strong proficiency in educational technology and digital learning environments. Experience using ManageBac, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office tools. Desirable Qualifications Previous experience teaching in an online learning environment. Knowledge of educational platforms such as Kognity, InThinking, ES Quest, or similar tools. Additional IB-related training or certifications. Key Competencies Excellent communication skills. Strong organizational and planning abilities. Digital literacy and confidence with educational technologies. Ability to adapt teaching methods to an online environment. Student-centered approach. Teamwork and collaboration skills. Employment Conditions Permanent (indefinite) contract. 18 teaching hours per week. Start date: September 4, 2026. Position based within SEK Global Campus, an online educational environment.
