Position Overview: Remote Customer Service Representative – Member Operations

arenaflex is expanding its Caremark Member Operations division and is actively hiring motivated, compassionate, and resourceful Remote Customer Care Representatives based within 75 miles of Orlando, Florida. Key Responsibilities

  • Handle Inbound Member Calls: Respond professionally and compassionately to a high volume of incoming calls from members inquiring about their pharmacy benefits, prescription coverage, and mail-order services.
  • Explain Complex Benefits Clearly: Translate intricate insurance and pharmacy benefit information into simple, easy-to-understand language that empowers members to make confident decisions.
  • Navigate Multiple Client Portfolios: Service a wide range of call types, including Commercial, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and various specialty client accounts, adapting quickly to changing business needs.
  • Resolve Member Inquiries: Use problem-solving skills to address concerns with empathy, patience, and confidence, ensuring each member feels valued and supported throughout the interaction.
  • Document Interactions Accurately: Maintain precise records of member communications, follow-ups, and outcomes in our Windows-based systems in compliance with HIPAA and all regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to Compliance Standards: Follow all HIPAA, governmental, and company-specific regulatory guidelines to safeguard member privacy and protect sensitive health information.
  • Upskill Continuously: Participate in ongoing training modules, self-paced learning, and leadership engagement opportunities to expand your knowledge of healthcare operations and member services.
  • Adapt to Variable Schedules: Maintain flexibility with scheduled hours, including the ability to adjust to peak call volumes or reduced business periods, all communicated with advance notice.

Essential Qualifications

  • Customer Interaction Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience working directly with customers in a call center, retail, customer service, hospitality, or military environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated comfort and competency in navigating Windows-based applications and learning new software systems quickly.
  • Work-From-Home Capability: Reliable high-speed internet connection, a secure and distraction-free workspace, and the ability to successfully complete the required training program.
  • Educational Foundation: A High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required; an Associate's degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • Compliance Readiness: Commitment to upholding HIPAA regulations, governmental compliance standards, and organizational policies at all times.

New hires begin with a 2-day onsite new colleague orientation, followed by a minimum of 6 weeks of virtual training that blends hands-on learning, self-paced modules, and direct engagement with trainers and leadership. Training location may vary depending on individual experience, with options for both onsite and work-from-home learning. By the end of the program, you will feel confident navigating member inquiries, mastering our systems, and delivering service that reflects the arenaflex standard of excellence.

Schedule Flexibility and Work-Life Balance

We understand that life is dynamic, and your career should complement—not compete with—your personal priorities. arenaflex offers full-time schedules ranging from 30 to 40 hours per week, with days off and hours that may vary based on business needs. As we strategically staff our operations to match call volume, you may experience periods of increased or reduced hours, with advance notice provided in every case. Your base schedule will be selected at the time of offer, with the understanding that some variability is part of our commitment to serving members when they need us most.

Compensation and Benefits
