Position Overview – What You’ll Do

The Client Customer Service Support Representative is a critical member of arenaflex’s Contact Center team, dedicated to supporting client accounts receivable (AR) and customer service functions within our RCM division. You will serve as the primary liaison for physician offices, hospital laboratories, patients, and internal stakeholders, ensuring that billing inquiries, claim denials, and eligibility questions are resolved with speed, accuracy, and empathy. Your role is both operational and advisory—providing product education, troubleshooting complex billing scenarios, and continuously seeking ways to improve processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to update claim information, resolve denied claims, and document all actions taken.
  • Conduct continuous evaluation of existing policies and SOPs, offering data‑driven recommendations for process enhancements that improve efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Handle sensitive patient and provider information with the highest level of confidentiality, adhering to HIPAA and internal security standards.
  • Interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOB) documents, insurance correspondence, and other billing communications to accurately address client questions.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of every interaction, ensuring a clear audit trail for each claim and inquiry.
  • Communicate professionally via telephone, email, and chat with physicians, insurance representatives, patients, and internal teams to resolve billing issues.
  • Utilize arenaflex’s proprietary tools to verify eligibility, check claim status, and retrieve detailed billing information, ensuring that clients receive the most accurate data possible.
  • Provide product education and training to clients, helping them navigate arenaflex’s billing platforms and understand best practices for claim submission.
  • Participate in regular team huddles, training sessions, and performance reviews to stay current on industry changes, regulatory updates, and internal product enhancements.

Essential Qualifications – What We Need From You

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in health administration, business, or related fields is a plus.
  • Remote Work Readiness: Dedicated, distraction‑free home office space with reliable high‑speed internet (minimum 50 Mbps download) and the ability to connect equipment via Ethernet cable.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a medical billing environment, call center, or customer service role is highly desirable.
