[Remote] VP, Sales - Healthcare IT | Project-based Selling
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. One Eighty Collective is a fast-growing IT professional services firm specializing in custom solutions for healthcare organizations. They are seeking a VP of Sales to drive new bookings, build a sales team, and define the sales function from the ground up, leveraging an existing healthcare network.
Responsibilities
- Drive $2.5M+ in new bookings within your first 12 months, primarily through your existing healthcare network
- Build toward hiring and leading 1-2 reps as the pipeline and playbook develop
- Install pipeline discipline: HubSpot hygiene, forecasting, and performance management
- Partner with a Solutions Architect to scope, price, and structure custom engagements
- Define how this sales function operates from day one
- Work closely with the GM to build the sales strategy
Skills
- Sold custom IT services through a project-based or SOW-driven model (development, managed services, consulting, or outsourcing), not subscription, license, platform-led, or cloud/infrastructure revenue
- Proven new logo hunter with a track record of building pipeline from cold, not just expanding existing accounts
- Deep healthcare vertical experience (provider, payer, or both)
- Operated in a lean, high-ambiguity environment without large support infrastructure
- AI-forward in your daily workflow; can hold a credible client conversation about AI and automation
- Microsoft-based services background (managed services, Azure, M365)
- Sold AI-powered automation or AI-enabled services into healthcare organizations
- Experience selling to the behavioral health market
- Has led or is ready to lead a small team for the first time
