[Remote] Paragon Payroll Consultant

ROI Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist with hands-on Paragon system expertise to support a healthcare client during a payroll transition. The role involves processing end-to-end payroll using existing workflows, correcting payroll errors, and partnering with Finance to ensure timely payroll execution.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll using the client's existing Paragon-based workflows and business processes
• Identify and correct payroll errors in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy across all pay cycles
• Partner with Finance to ensure bank file transfers and money movement occur on schedule for each payroll cycle
• Process Personnel Action Forms (PAFs) and apply the downstream impact to employee pay accurately
• Serve as a steady operational presence while the client's internal payroll lead focuses on Workday deployment

Skills

• 5+ years of payroll processing experience, with direct hands-on experience on the Paragon payroll system
• Healthcare industry background, ideally within a hospital or health system environment
• Demonstrated ability to follow established business processes and merge manual workflows with system-based payroll processing
• Strong attention to detail and a track record of error-free, on-time payroll execution
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment and collaborating with distributed teams
• Minimal travel flexibility to establish relationships on-site as needed
• Prior experience supporting a payroll transition or system implementation
• Familiarity with Workday Payroll (not required - but helpful context for the client environment)
