Saragossa is focused on building the next generation of legal technology products, and they are seeking a Senior AI Data Engineer to help build an AI-ready data platform. This role involves leading the development of a modern lakehouse platform on AWS and establishing standards for data quality and governance while contributing to the company's AI strategy.
Responsibilities
- Help build the AI-ready data platform powering the next generation of legal technology products
- Lead the development of a modern lakehouse platform on AWS, building scalable data pipelines, transforming complex business logic into governed data models, and establishing the data quality, lineage, and governance standards that support critical business operations
- Play a key part in the company's AI strategy, helping create the semantic layers, governed metrics, and MCP integrations that allow AI agents to interact with trusted business data
- Work closely with engineering, product, and AI stakeholders, taking ownership of the platform end-to-end while helping define best practices around dbt, data modeling, and lakehouse architecture
- Mentor junior engineers and help drive technical decisions across the team

- Experience with dbt
