[Remote] Manufacturing Engineer | $65/hr Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Manufacturing Expert for a contract position. The role involves providing feedback on manufacturing processes, developing Six Sigma process maps, and collaborating with a global project team.
Responsibilities
- Provide detailed feedback on manufacturing processes and best practices based on extensive domain experience
- Review and develop Six Sigma process maps, root-cause analysis reports, and production line efficiency models
- Evaluate and recommend improvements in assembly line and mechanical engineering operations
- Offer expertise in quality assurance (QA) and operational excellence strategies
- Create and review documentation for operational procedures and standards
- Collaborate with a global project team by communicating complex concepts in clear, concise English
Skills
- Have 5- of hands-on experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, quality assurance, or mechanical engineering
- Demonstrate expertise with Six Sigma, process mapping, and root-cause analysis
- Have extensive experience optimizing production or assembly line efficiency
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English, which is critical for project success
- Be able to document, explain, and justify technical decisions and methodologies succinctly
