[Remote] Director of Domestic Commercial Operations

Trans Ova Genetics is a leader in reproductive technologies and expertise for cattle breeders, and they are seeking a Director of Domestic Commercial Operations to drive growth in their bovine IVF business. This role involves executing a commercial strategy to enhance revenue, market presence, and client experience while leading a high-performing commercial team and ensuring operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a national commercial strategy focused on revenue growth, market expansion, and operational efficiency
- Lead and manage key customer relationships, delivering high-value, tailored IVF solutions
- Partner with operations and technical teams to ensure seamless service delivery and continuous process improvement
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing commercial team, setting clear goals and expectations
- Own and manage commercial budgets, tracking performance against revenue targets and KPIs
- Drive cross-functional alignment with sales, marketing, and operations to enhance client experience and business outcomes
- Ensure compliance with all industry regulations, biosecurity standards, and quality protocols
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Animal Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or operations within livestock, animal health, or agricultural biotech
- Demonstrated success leading commercial teams to achieve growth and market expansion
- Financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 50%
- Strong knowledge of bovine IVF, embryo transfer, or reproductive technologies
