[Remote] Social Media Specialist - Part Time & Remote!
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. myVA Rocks is a company that connects busy professionals and business owners with talented Virtual Assistants. They are currently seeking a part-time, remote Social Media Specialist to enhance clients' social media presence through creative content and strategic execution.
Responsibilities
- Help businesses simplify and supercharge their social media presence using smart design and marketing tools
- Executing strategy and crafting on-brand content
- Analyzing performance and keeping everything on track
- Designing eye-catching graphics or videos
- Researching hashtags for an upcoming campaign
- Writing scroll-stopping captions in your client’s voice
- Scheduling posts across platforms
- Digging into analytics to see what’s working (and what’s not)
- Offering clients helpful guidance to boost engagement and streamline their social game
Skills
- 2-5+ years of professional experience in a creative Social Media focused role (Social Media Coordinator, Marketing Director, Brand/Digital Content Manager, etc)
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 20 business hours per week
- A work location that is professional and appropriate for meeting with corporate clients
- Experience with tools of the trade, such as Canva, Figma, Adobe Express, CapCut/Inshot, RiteTag, Trends.co, and more
- Expertise with social media platforms such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, Sprout Social, Planoly, Loomly, HeyOrca, CoSchedule, SocialPilot, or Tailwind
- You are proactive and gutsy! The nature of VA work requires tenacity, adaptability, and a love of learning on the fly
- Details, details. If mixing up 'there,' 'their,' and 'they're' physically pains you, you might be our kind of person
- You're organized and resourceful enough to be able to work through a new task, system, or snafu a client may have with relative ease using the tools you have
- Other marketing or creative experience, such as copywriting, marketing email management, audio editing, and video editing, is a welcome plus!
