Position Overview

The Remote Customer Service Representative is the voice of arenaflex for our B2B customers. You will be the first point of contact for inquiries, order processing, and issue resolution, ensuring that each interaction reflects our commitment to quality and reliability. This full‑time, hourly role blends phone, email, and chat support with order entry, CRM maintenance, and cross‑functional collaboration. You’ll work from the comfort of your home office while staying tightly connected to our Portland, OR headquarters and the broader arenaflex team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction: Respond to inbound and outbound communications via phone, email, and live chat, delivering prompt, accurate, and courteous service.
  • Order Management: Accurately capture, enter, and verify sales orders for protective gloves and suspenders, ensuring all details align with customer expectations and internal standards.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve product, shipping, and billing concerns, escalating complex cases to the appropriate internal teams while maintaining ownership until closure.
  • CRM & Data Integrity: Maintain up‑to‑date customer records in our CRM system, documenting interactions, order histories, and follow‑up actions to support seamless service continuity.
  • Collaboration: Partner with internal sales, logistics, and manufacturing groups to confirm order accuracy, inventory availability, and delivery timelines.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute ideas to refine service workflows, share best practices, and help evolve arenaflex’s customer experience strategy.
  • Project Support: Assist with special initiatives such as trade‑show preparation, product launches, and training sessions, providing administrative and logistical assistance as needed.

Essential Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from a two‑year college, technical school, or comparable work experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years proven experience in B2B customer service, preferably within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt communication style to diverse customer personalities and business contexts.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a demonstrated aptitude for learning new software platforms quickly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on active listening and meticulous attention to detail.
