Key Responsibilities

  • Manage 2‑3 simultaneous inbound chat sessions using the arenaflex (formerly LiveEngage) platform, ensuring each interaction is handled with professionalism and empathy.
  • Consult customers on product selection, lens care, and accessories, helping them maximize the value of their contact lens purchase.
  • Proactively communicate with your manager and teammates through one‑on‑one meetings, team huddles, and collaborative chat channels to maintain alignment and continuous improvement.
  • Deliver top‑notch customer service in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, consistently meeting or exceeding service level agreements.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in real time, exercising empowered decision‑making to create positive outcomes for customers.
  • Maintain high performance metrics, including revenue per chat, quality scores, availability, and dependability, while adhering to arenaflex’s standards of excellence.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum of 2‑3 years of proven customer service experience, preferably in a remote or virtual setting.
  • Exceptional typing speed (≥ 40 wpm) and strong technical proficiency with web‑based chat tools.
  • Reliable high‑speed internet connection (minimum 20 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload) and a dedicated, distraction‑free workspace that ensures confidentiality.
  • Positive, solution‑oriented mindset with a track record of taking initiative and delivering results.
  • Demonstrated ability to adhere to scheduled shifts, punctuality, and consistent attendance.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Experience in the optical, eyewear, or health‑care industry, providing insight into product specifics and customer needs.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, ticketing platforms, and performance analytics tools.
