Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter, verify, and update payroll data for assigned APAC countries using the arenaflex payroll platform.
  • Process weekly expense reimbursements through arenaflex’s host‑to‑host integration, ensuring timely and compliant payments.
  • Prepare, post, and reconcile payroll changes—including new hires, terminations, and salary adjustments—within arenaflex’s HCM system.
  • Submit new‑hire and leaver documentation to the external payroll provider, guaranteeing that all paperwork meets regulatory standards.
  • Validate payroll inputs against payroll checks, coordinating with payroll carriers to resolve discrepancies quickly.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries via the arenaflex ticketing system, delivering courteous and knowledgeable support.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and year‑end payroll reports, supporting tax filings and statutory compliance across APAC jurisdictions.
  • Maintain accurate records of payroll costs, purchase orders, and vendor settlements, providing transparent reporting to finance leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with teammates in the Philippines and Singapore to align on global payroll processes and system enhancements.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements within the payroll workflow.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on payroll and accounting experience in a BPO or shared‑services environment.
  • Regional Expertise: Demonstrated experience processing payroll for APAC countries such as Korea, Australia, and India.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of APAC statutory payroll regulations, tax requirements, and compliance reporting.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced use of arenaflex Sheets, arenaflex Gmail, arenaflex Excel, arenaflex Word, and the arenaflex HCM platform.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English; ability to convey complex payroll concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Organizational Ability: Proven track record of managing high‑volume data entry tasks with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or a payroll‑specific credential (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional).
  • Experience with third‑party payroll service providers and multi‑currency payroll processing.
  • Familiarity with arenaflex’s internal ticketing system and workflow automation tools.
