About the Role

As a Part-Time Remote Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be entrusted with entering, verifying, and maintaining critical business data that supports the daily operations of a major national retail partner. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of supply chain coordination, product cataloging, pricing accuracy, and customer-facing information systems. You will work approximately 20–25 hours per week, with scheduling blocks primarily in the evenings and weekends. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate Data Entry: Input a high volume of information into digital databases, spreadsheets, and proprietary software platforms with a precision rate of 98% or higher. Tasks may include entering product descriptions, inventory counts, vendor information, shipping details, pricing updates, and customer account records.
  • Quality Assurance & Verification: Review and audit your own work as well as data submitted by other team members. Identify discrepancies such as duplicate entries, missing fields, incorrect codes, or formatting inconsistencies, and take corrective action promptly.
  • Cross-Referencing & Validation: Compare source documents — including scanned forms, PDFs, handwritten records, and digital files — against entered data to ensure complete and accurate transcription.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Maintain open lines of communication with team leads, supervisors, and fellow data entry professionals through email, chat platforms, and scheduled video check-ins. Escalate complex issues and provide suggestions for process improvements.
  • Confidentiality & Compliance: Handle sensitive business information, including pricing strategies, vendor contracts, and customer data, in full compliance with arenaflex’s data protection policies and applicable privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare basic daily and weekly reports summarizing completed tasks, error rates, and productivity metrics. Maintain organized digital records of all work performed.

Essential Qualifications

  • Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. Additional coursework in business administration, information technology, or office management is a plus.
  • Typing Proficiency: Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute (WPM) with a high degree of accuracy. Higher typing speeds are strongly preferred.
  • Technical Literacy: Comfortable using computers, web-based applications, email platforms, spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets), and basic word processing software. Familiarity with cloud-based systems is advantageous.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to spot errors, inconsistencies, and anomalies in large volumes of data. Accuracy is non-negotiable in this role.
