Role Overview – Senior Data Analytics & Voice‑of‑Customer Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analytics & Voice‑of‑Customer Engineer to join our Remote Live‑Chat team. In this role, you will partner with product owners, data scientists, and agile technology squads to design, build, and maintain the data pipelines and analytical frameworks that power arenaflex’s Voice‑of‑Customer (VoC) platform. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, translate, and prioritize VoC requirements into technical specifications.
• Design and implement robust data models on the arenaflex data lake, ensuring high‑quality, scalable, and secure storage of survey and interaction data.
• Develop end‑to‑end pipelines using Hadoop, HDFS, Spark, Hive, and Python to ingest, transform, and enrich raw VoC data.
• Build and maintain real‑time analytics dashboards that surface actionable insights for product, marketing, and operations teams.
• Optimize batch and streaming processes to reduce latency, improve throughput, and guarantee data accuracy.
• Lead testing and validation efforts through rigorous unit, integration, and performance testing to uphold data integrity.
• Automate repetitive tasks with shell scripting, Airflow, or similar orchestration tools to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices around big‑data technologies, agile delivery, and data governance.

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Hadoop ecosystem tools (Hive, HDFS, MapReduce) and Spark/PySpark.
