Role Overview – Senior Data Product Manager I (Remote)

As a Senior Data Product Manager I within the Marketing Innovation group at arenaflex, you will be the strategic bridge between product vision and data science execution. You will own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of marketing data products, from discovery and requirement gathering to design, implementation, and continuous improvement. This role blends product management expertise with deep analytical acumen, requiring you to translate massive data sets into clear business insights, influence senior leadership, and partner closely with engineering, design, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and articulate the product data strategy for arenaflex’s Marketing CRM platform, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and cross‑functional roadmaps.
  • Analyze, curate, and structure both large‑scale and granular data sets to surface trends, identify growth opportunities, and support strategic decision‑making.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional product teams as the primary data liaison, delivering data‑driven solutions that enhance product value and user experience.
  • Partner with the Master Data Management (MDM) and Marketing product teams to design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines and governance frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain product documentation, including data models, functional specifications, and stakeholder communication plans.
  • Work closely with engineering, design, QA, and program management to prioritize features, assess feasibility, and drive timely delivery of data‑centric enhancements.
  • Provide data expertise to ensure consistent implementation of data definitions, privacy standards, and business logic across the platform.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend product enhancements that increase operational efficiency, revenue generation, and overall marketing ROI.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and rollout activities, collaborating with end‑users, product owners, and technical leads to ensure seamless adoption.
  • Mentor junior analysts and act as the go‑to data authority within the product organization, fostering a culture of data literacy and continuous learning.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in product management within a data‑intensive product environment or a closely related field.
  • Proven expertise in modern data handling techniques, including data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
  • Strong command of SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into technical specifications and actionable product roadmaps.
  • Excellent communication skills with a track record of presenting complex data insights to senior stakeholders across multiple levels of an organization.

  • Solid understanding of the product development lifecycle, including agile methodologies, sprint planning, and release management.
