The Account Director, ChatGPT Enterprise is a senior, customer‑facing position that sits at the intersection of technology, strategy, and partnership. You will own the full sales lifecycle for high‑value enterprise accounts, guiding prospects from initial curiosity through detailed evaluations, pilots, and ultimately long‑term contracts. Your influence will extend beyond revenue generation – you will act as a trusted advisor, an AI thought leader, and a catalyst for the broader adoption of safe AI across the global enterprise landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • End‑to‑End Deal Ownership: Lead enterprise prospects through every stage of the sales journey, from pipeline generation and qualification to negotiation, closure, and post‑sale expansion.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner closely with Account Associates, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Product Management, and Engineering to design and execute complex evaluation processes, demos, and pilot programs.
  • Revenue Forecasting & Pipeline Management: Provide accurate weekly forecasts, maintain a robust pipeline, and meet or exceed annual revenue targets of $1 million+ per account.
  • Market Intelligence & Product Influence: Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor moves, and emerging customer needs; feed insights back to the product team to shape roadmap and positioning.
  • Thought Leadership & Advocacy: Represent arenaflex as an AI authority at customer executive briefings, industry conferences, advisory boards, and internal forums.
  • Team Development & Culture Building: Mentor junior teammates, support recruitment initiatives, and champion a collaborative, inclusive culture that aligns with arenaflex’s values.
  • Cross‑Functional Execution: Drive alignment across business operations, people operations, and finance to ensure seamless contract execution and customer onboarding.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of proven success selling platform‑as‑a‑service (PaaS) or software‑as‑a‑service (SaaS) solutions in a product‑led growth environment.
  • Consistent track record of achieving $1 million+ annual recurring revenue (ARR) targets, with a demonstrated ability to close multi‑year enterprise contracts.
  • Deep experience designing and executing complex deal strategies that involve multiple stakeholders, custom pilots, and long sales cycles.
  • Strong background in leading high‑visibility customer events such as Customer Advisory Boards (CABs), industry conferences, and product launch initiatives.
  • Proven ability to gather, synthesize, and act on market intelligence—including competitor analysis, industry trends, and prospect insights.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a talent for translating technical concepts into compelling business value propositions for C‑suite audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in AI, machine learning, or data‑intensive technology sales, preferably with exposure to large language models or conversational AI platforms.
  • Background in consulting or solution architecture that enables you to guide customers through technical evaluations and proof‑of‑concept deployments.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence product roadmap through customer feedback loops and strategic partnership building.
