Our technology division serves as the backbone of this mission, ensuring that our dedicated flight attendants, pilots, and operational teams have access to cutting-edge applications and tools that enable them to deliver exceptional service every single day.

At arenaflex, we believe that the future of aviation lies in the intersection of innovative technology and human-centered design. Our Innovation Office is currently seeking a talented and motivated Technology Analyst to join our team as an Innovation Investigator, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital experiences of our frontline teams and contributing to the development of next-generation travel solutions.

Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about making a meaningful impact through technology innovation. As an Innovation Investigator within our Technology Office, you will have the unique opportunity to work across multiple business domains, including Air Operations, Customer and Business Services, Framework and Services, and People and Finance. This role offers exposure to diverse aspects of the airline and travel industry, providing invaluable experience for aspiring technology professionals.

The Innovation Investigator position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn, grow, and contribute to organizational excellence while developing their technical and business analysis skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Scrum Masters, Engineers, Product Owners, and Business Stakeholders, to ensure the quality and reliability of mission-critical applications that power our daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Technology Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties that contribute to our technology excellence and operational success. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Application Quality Assurance: Collaborate with development teams to conduct thorough testing of applications used by our flight attendants and pilots in their daily operations. Ensure that all applications meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and reliability before deployment to production environments.
  • Requirements Analysis: Work with business clients to conduct comprehensive requirements analysis related to systems and business processes. Document functional and non-functional requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Business Process Mapping: Analyze and document existing business processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend technology-enabled solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness across various operational domains.
  • Quality Assurance Oversight: Ensure that all technological solutions are aligned with internal tooling, business procedures, and departmental guidelines. Implement quality control measures and best practices to maintain consistency and compliance.
  • Project Timeline Management: Manage timelines for planning, coding, testing, and implementation phases to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget constraints. Coordinate with stakeholders to establish realistic timelines and track progress effectively.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Act as a vital resource to facilitate effective communication between business and technology teams. Bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of requirements, progress, and challenges.
  • Testing and Validation: Participate in system and acceptance testing activities, including test case development, test execution, defect identification and reporting, and test result documentation.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Develop and maintain metrics to showcase progress and demonstrate the value of testing initiatives to senior leadership. Provide regular status updates and insights to ensure Management is informed about testing progress and project health.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies. Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and innovation in quality assurance practices.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other Innovation team members and cross-functional workgroups to achieve organizational goals and deliverables. Participate in team meetings, knowledge sharing sessions, and collaborative problem-solving initiatives.
