Supervision Performance & Automation Analyst

LPL Financial is a leading wealth management firm in the U.S., supporting financial advisors and institutions. The Supervision Performance & Automation Analyst will assist in delivering automated workflows to enhance operational efficiency for the Supervision team, requiring collaboration and innovative problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support and collaborate with more experienced colleagues to deliver large-scale solutions across a variety of projects & initiatives
  • Jointly participate in projects & tasks while advancing skills in discovery, design, and implementation of process improvements and automated workflows
  • Optimize processes by conducting stakeholder interviews to compile needs assessment, identify requirements, and support solution design
  • Conduct data validation and process testing exercises, identifying defects and proposing solutions or workarounds
  • Work cross-functionality to deliver & implement more efficient workflows by combining backend data sources in Alteryx
  • Research and resolve unknowns independently by leveraging resources and navigating the organization to obtain information and achieve objectives
  • Drive continuous improvement by proposing ways to leverage data aggregation tools, automated workflows, or AI to streamline our team’s ability to operate & execute on our initiatives

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
  • 1+ years of experience in data sourcing, extraction, or analytics
  • Experience in Excel, SQL, python, and/or Alteryx
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Attention to detail and excellent business judgment with successful track record for working independently
  • Resourceful problem solver that is able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure with commitment to deliver under tight deadlines
  • Demonstrates work ethic and possesses a natural curiosity with a commitment to continually learn and grow
  • Written and verbal communication skills with ability to present information in differing degrees of detail and form depending on the audience
  • Knowledge of Supervision, securities licenses a plus (7, 66/63)
  • Prior experience replacing manual workflows by aggregating data to create automated or more efficient solutions
