Role Overview

The Remote Entry-Level Data Entry & Marketplace Account Manager position is a pivotal entry point into arenaflex’s dynamic Marketplace team. You will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and nurturing high‑potential third‑party (3P) sellers, ensuring that our product catalog grows in depth and breadth while delivering an exceptional experience for both sellers and shoppers. This role blends data‑entry precision, market analysis, and consultative sales techniques to drive revenue growth and expand arenaflex’s footprint in the United States market—all from the comfort of your home in Ecuador.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketplace Growth Strategy: Conduct thorough market research to uncover product gaps, seasonal trends, and competitive dynamics, translating insights into actionable go‑to‑market (GTM) plans.
  • Seller Acquisition: Prospect, engage, and recruit high‑quality sellers through virtual outreach, webinars, and targeted presentations, aiming to increase the number of active 3P partners on arenaflex.
  • Onboarding & Enablement: Guide new sellers through the onboarding process, providing best‑practice training on listing optimization, pricing strategy, and fulfillment options.
  • Data Management: Accurately input and maintain product, pricing, and inventory data in arenaflex’s internal systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with marketplace policies.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track seller performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and deliver data‑driven recommendations to help sellers achieve higher conversion rates and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams—including Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service—to resolve seller issues, streamline processes, and enhance the overall marketplace experience.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, pricing changes, and promotional tactics, feeding insights back to the product and strategy teams.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Generate regular reports on seller acquisition, product assortment growth, and revenue impact, presenting findings to senior leadership.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of proven sales or business development experience, preferably within e‑commerce, retail, FMCG, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue targets using consultative, solution‑oriented selling techniques.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable business recommendations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Comfortable working in an ambiguous, fast‑paced environment with a “hands‑on” approach to problem solving.

  • 2+ years of direct e‑commerce experience, such as managing an online storefront or marketplace account.
