Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will be expected to:

  • Collaborate with source data application teams and product owners to design, develop, and maintain scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
  • Implement end‑to‑end data solutions using Azure services: Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Event Hub, Azure Databricks, and Azure DevOps.
  • Develop and optimize data models, ensuring data quality, consistency, and compliance with security standards.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle: architecture design, cloud infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD pipeline creation, testing, deployment, and performance tuning.
  • Build and support both batch and streaming data pipelines to enable real‑time analytics for operational dashboards.
  • Drive best practices in coding standards, data governance, and security policies across the data engineering community.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
