About the Role: Remote Pharmacy Data Entry Technician

As a Remote Pharmacy Data Entry Technician at arenaflex, you will play an instrumental role in supporting pharmacists, serving patients, and ensuring the seamless operation of our pharmacy services from a remote work environment. This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary of $75,000, comprehensive benefits, and the flexibility of working from home while remaining deeply connected to a mission-driven team.

Our pharmacy technician positions have undergone an exciting transformation — moving from a purely transactional environment to one that is deeply patient-centric. As a member of the arenaflex team, you will be at the forefront of this evolution, interacting with customers, developing strong patient relationships, and contributing to the overall well-being of the communities we serve. Whether you are newly exploring the world of pharmacy or an experienced technician seeking new challenges, arenaflex provides the training, tools, and support you need to thrive.

What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Pharmacy Data Entry Technician, your daily responsibilities will be varied, meaningful, and impactful. Below is a comprehensive overview of what your role will entail:

  • Prescription Data Management: Utilize advanced pharmacy information systems to obtain accurate patient and drug information, then process prescriptions with meticulous attention to detail. If you hold PTCB certification, you will also assist in coaching fellow technicians on optimal system usage.
  • Customer and Patient Engagement: Greet and assist patients via phone, email, and digital platforms, providing helpful information about products and services. Resolve customer concerns professionally to ensure a positive experience with arenaflex.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Model and share best practices in customer service with team members, fostering a culture of warmth, professionalism, and proactive assistance. Build strong relationships with valued customers to enhance loyalty and trust.
  • Pharmacy Operations Support: Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, assist in the practice of pharmacy in compliance with all state, federal, and company policies. • Inventory Management: Support the pharmacy team in inventory activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing prescription medications. Maintain knowledge of asset protection techniques and document claims related to inventory discrepancies.
  • Clinical Services Coordination: Assist the pharmacist in coordinating clinical services, including the proper collection and labeling of biological samples, and support connections with healthcare providers, clinics, and external partners.
  • Community Outreach: Help develop and maintain positive relationships with local healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, retirement communities, and nursing homes, supporting arenaflex's growth and community presence.
  • Maintenance and Organization: Ensure the pharmacy department remains clean, organized, and well-stocked, whether working remotely or on-site as needed.
