What You'll Do
Define and execute the full marketing strategy for Concourse--brand, content, demand gen, and market positioning Build and lead the marketing function from scratch, hiring and managing the team as it grows Create compelling narratives and content that resonate with state and local government decision-makers Build and optimize demand generation campaigns across multiple channels to drive qualified pipeline Leverage AI tools to automate and scale marketing efforts--we're building an AI-native company Partner with the founder, sales, and product teams to align messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy What We're Looking For 6+ years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally with government or enterprise customers Proven track record of building and scaling marketing functions at early-stage startups Strong strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution--you can set the vision and do the work High agency and comfort with ambiguity in an early-stage environment Enthusiasm for AI--you're excited to use tools like Claude to 10x your output Excellent communication and storytelling skills Remote-friendly; able to travel as needed for client meetings, conferences, and team offsites in NYC About Concourse Concourse is an early-stage, fast-growing startup building AI-powered software for state and local governments. This is the CEO's second venture after a successful exit. We sell technology to state and local governments, aiming to improve public services by replacing legacy, inefficient systems. The core problem we address is the disconnect between tax payments and perceived government inefficiency—often due to outdated technology. We're building an AI-native company where every team member is empowered to use AI tools like Claude to automate their work.
