Why This Role Matters – The Impact of a Remote Customer Service Representative

In today’s fast‑moving insurance landscape, clients expect swift, accurate, and empathetic service. As a Remote Customer Service Representative (also known as an Associate Account Manager), you will be the frontline liaison between arenaflex, our carriers, and our valued policyholders. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate within a high‑volume call‑center environment, delivering courteous and knowledgeable assistance to individual and commercial clients.
  • Process endorsement requests for personal lines insurance policies, securing accurate pricing from carriers when required.
  • Manage comprehensive account documentation, ensuring all paperwork is transmitted to insured parties and carriers in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a proactive follow‑up system with insurance carriers to guarantee that requests are processed within service level agreements.
  • Provide underwriters with supplemental information and documentation as needed to facilitate policy amendments.
  • Issue certificates of insurance, evidence of property forms, and other proof of coverage documents to clients and their representatives upon request.
  • Handle lost‑policy release forms, coordinating correspondence between insureds and carriers to resolve gaps in coverage.
  • Oversee daily agency interface system downloads, reconciling transactions to ensure accurate month‑end revenue reporting.
  • Support sales initiatives by rating policies, entering data into the policy management database, and assisting with quote generation.
  • Participate in personal and professional development programs, continuously expanding industry knowledge and service skills.
  • Undertake special projects and duties assigned by management, contributing to process improvements and team initiatives.

Essential Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably within property & casualty (P&C) lines.
  • Active Property & Casualty License (or ability to obtain one within the first 90 days of employment).
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in business, finance, or related fields is a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating complex policy language into clear, client‑friendly explanations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort navigating web‑based insurance platforms.
