Why This Role Matters

Our Driver Onboarding Specialists are the first point of contact for new delivery professionals. You will guide applicants from the moment they express interest to the day they hit the road, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and compliant onboarding experience. Your work directly impacts driver satisfaction, platform reliability, and the overall quality of service that arenaflex provides to its partners and end‑customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Application Review & Verification: Examine driver applications, insurance documents, and vehicle registration records for completeness, accuracy, and eligibility according to arenaflex standards.
  • Virtual Vehicle Safety Inspections: Conduct live, video‑based safety checks with prospective drivers, guiding them through required procedures and documenting compliance (training provided).
  • Applicant Communication: Maintain proactive, courteous, and timely communication with drivers via text, chat, and email, updating them on application status, next steps, and any required actions.
  • Background Check Coordination: Initiate and track pre‑employment background checks using arenaflex’s internal software, ensuring all required checks are completed before activation.
  • Data Management & Entry: Accurately input applicant information into the onboarding system, maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks or recurring issues in the onboarding workflow and propose actionable improvements to enhance efficiency and driver experience.
  • Collaboration with Cross‑Functional Teams: Work closely with HR, compliance, product, and operations teams to resolve complex cases and align onboarding practices with broader company goals.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a business environment performing data entry, customer service, HR, or administrative duties.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proven track record of delivering high‑quality work in fast‑paced, remote or hybrid settings.
  • Associate’s degree or higher (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Familiarity with gig‑economy platforms, driver onboarding, or recruitment processes is a strong advantage.

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • 1–2 years experience specifically recruiting, onboarding, or supporting gig‑app workers.
  • Comfort with smartphone and web‑based applications, including video conferencing tools.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to document verification.
  • Self‑motivated, able to work independently, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate driver schedules.

Compensation, Benefits & Perks

arenaflex offers a competitive salary range of $25,000 – $35,000 annually, commensurate with experience, education, and skill set. In addition to base pay, you will be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

Location & Eligibility

This full‑time position is open to candidates located in San Diego, CA, or any U.S. state where remote work is permitted. Preferred states include Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, and Virginia. Candidates from other states will be considered on an individual basis. Please note that this role does not qualify for U.S. visa sponsorship.
