The Opportunity

We're seeking a highly motivated Remote Customer Service Associate to join our logistics division. In this full-time role (40 hours per week), you'll have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on how customers experience package delivery. While we expect a standard 40-hour workweek, flexibility is key - you'll need to be prepared to work additional hours when customer demands require it. This position offers the unique combination of remote work flexibility with the satisfaction of being part of a team that's literally moving the world forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service through multiple channels including phone, email, and digital platforms
  • Manage complex customer situations with empathy and professionalism, turning potential challenges into positive experiences
  • Provide real-time, hands-on support to ensure customers receive their packages on time, as promised
  • Connect customers with specialists who can provide the most accurate and up-to-date information about their packages
  • Promptly respond to customer inquiries and prioritize needs effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Solicit customer feedback to continuously improve our service offerings
  • Analyze information and use critical thinking to supplement data and identify improvement opportunities
  • Proactively seek ways to enhance and promote quality service standards
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness while meeting established deadlines
  • Identify and resolve package handling issues using problem-solving skills
  • Collect and analyze data skillfully to develop innovative solutions

  • Physically manage package handling (up to 49 pounds) including lifting, pushing, and pulling
  • Perform tasks requiring standing, kneeling, crouching, and stretching during extended shifts
  • Adapt to warehouse production environments with varying noise levels and temperatures

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
  • Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Outlook
  • Familiarity with multiple web browsers, database searching, and instant messaging tools
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members
  • Flexibility to work additional hours when needed to meet customer demands
  • Reliable computer equipment and high-speed internet connection for remote work

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work-related experience
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written communication

  • Familiarity with logistics and supply chain management principles
  • Knowledge of package tracking systems and delivery networks
  • Experience working in a remote team environment
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing systems
  • Bilingual skills (particularly Spanish) are highly valued
