Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Remote Data Analytics & Risk Management Director to lead our Growth Strategy and Business Process Innovation initiatives. In this role, you will partner with cross‑functional teams to design, develop, and operationalize risk‑management frameworks that leverage both structured and unstructured data. You will translate complex analytical insights into actionable business strategies, driving continuous improvement across our product and service portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive risk‑management strategies aligned with arenaflex’s growth objectives.
  • Analyze large, heterogeneous data sets (transactional, behavioral, external) using statistical, financial, AI, and business‑analytics techniques.
  • Collaborate with technology, product, and business teams to integrate risk‑management models into day‑to‑day operations.
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize new data sources—both internal and external—to enhance predictive accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Apply industry‑standard best practices and incorporate stakeholder feedback to continuously refine risk‑management processes.
  • Lead the design and delivery of data‑driven insights for both technical and non‑technical audiences, ensuring clarity and impact.
  • Drive cost‑saving initiatives and process‑improvement projects that deliver measurable ROI.
  • Mentor junior analysts and data scientists, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
  • Support the creation of executive‑level presentations, dashboards, and reports that influence strategic decision‑making.

Essential Qualifications

  • Graduate degree (MSc, MBA, PhD) in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience in risk management, data analytics, or business‑process improvement.
  • Proven ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience working with cross‑functional teams—including technical, business, and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Strong background in cost‑benefit analysis, process redesign, and change‑management initiatives.
  • Experience presenting financial and analytical results using Microsoft PowerPoint and other visualization tools.
  • Technical proficiency with at least three of the following: Python, R, SAS, SQL, Tableau, Teradata, Data bricks, Unix, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) frameworks.
  • Ability to work remotely at least three days per week while maintaining high levels of collaboration and communication.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Advanced certifications such as FRM, CFA, or Certified Analytics Professional (CAP).
  • Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big‑data technologies.
  • Familiarity with machine‑learning pipelines and model deployment in production environments.
  • Strong project‑management capabilities, including Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for storytelling through data.
  • Demonstrated leadership in mentoring and developing high‑performing analytical teams.
