Position Overview – Staff Data Analyst (Remote)

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Information Investigator to join our Item Success team. In this fully remote, full‑time position, you will be responsible for executing daily data‑handling tasks, managing small‑ to medium‑scale projects, and delivering high‑quality analytical support that drives business decisions. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Item Success, Record The Board, and Providers to ensure seamless delivery of statistical surveying projects that comply with ISO and global data‑handling standards.
• Lead execution of daily requests for data analysis, managing both essential and optional data to support Provider and internal inquiries.
• Interpret requirements for data services, translating business needs into clear, actionable data‑analysis projects.
• Plan, design, and communicate project timelines to guarantee expectations are set and met on schedule.
• Validate data sets for logical consistency, reformat and cleanse data for downstream analysis.
• Prepare data for analysis using SAS or SPSS, applying weighting and transformation techniques as required.
• Act as a proactive contributor, offering recommendations for process improvements and automation to enhance overall efficiency and delivery.
• Develop and share best practices across teams to continuously improve the quality, accuracy, and speed of our product offerings and processes.
• Perform ad‑hoc projects and tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a “can‑do” attitude.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience delivering data‑analysis support using quantitative data, preferably in a retail or e‑commerce environment.
• Strong knowledge of data‑validation techniques, data‑cleansing, and data‑preparation workflows.
