Key Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and completeness of patient records and healthcare data. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Accurate Data Entry: Enter and update patient information, including personal details, medical history, treatment plans, and billing information into our database systems with precision and attention to detail.
  • Record Verification: Review and verify the accuracy of healthcare records to ensure all data is complete, current, and free from errors or inconsistencies.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure strict adherence to data security and privacy regulations, including HIPAA requirements, maintaining confidentiality of patient information at all times.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and administrative staff, to maintain the highest standards of data quality and consistency.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Assist in generating reports and analyzing healthcare data trends to support organizational decision-making and improve patient care processes.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Identify, document, and report data discrepancies for timely resolution, working closely with relevant team members to correct any errors.

  • Proficient Data Entry Skills: Excellent keyboarding skills with a minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute and high accuracy rate.

  • Healthcare Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare terminology, medical codes, and healthcare practices is highly preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of data management software, electronic health record (EHR) systems, and MS Office applications.
