  • Insight Communication: Help develop and communicate results from complex data and analyses for both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leaders, cross-functional partners, and stakeholders.
  • Ad-Hoc Research and Reporting: Support research on critical ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging operational issues, providing insightful reporting that allows senior leadership to make informed business decisions while balancing existing project responsibilities.
  • Data Visualization: Present insights, trends, and potential implications using data visualization tools that support the relevant points of analysis, making it easier for stakeholders to digest complex information.
  • Query Development: Assist in developing and distributing specialized queries to pull and organize data from multiple sources, establishing rhythm, and validating the necessity of data requirements.
  • Process Audits: Identify inconsistencies in processes through audits and surveys, and communicate findings to the team with constructive recommendations.
  • Trend and Anomaly Monitoring: Evaluate the effectiveness of current processes and policies by monitoring for trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Compliance-First Mindset: Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the center of every decision, recommendation, and report you produce.
  • Additional Duties: May perform other work-related responsibilities as directed by the Team Leader or senior management.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to gather, organize, and analyze significant amounts of data with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to actively listen, understand, and convey ideas effectively in writing, verbally, and through presentations delivered to groups of varying audiences.
  • Problem-Solving: Capacity to assess business issues, identify opportunities for data-driven solutions, and interpret resulting metrics.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Ability to understand problems, summarize findings, perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and sound reasoning.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of data visualization tools and skills such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase.
  • Ability to use PowerPoint to build polished, executive-level presentations for verbal communications.
  • Previous internship, capstone project, or research coursework experience.
  • Past internship experience in a related field such as analytics, quality assurance, compliance, or operations.
  • Experience planning and supporting large-scale business initiatives.

Skills and Competencies for Success

  • Independent Thinking: Ability to prioritize responsibilities effectively and operate as an independent thinker while contributing to team objectives.
